BREAKING: Nana Akufo Addo's Statue In Takoradi Destroyed

A piece of breaking news reaching us at OccupyGh.com indicates that the statue of Former President Nana Akufo Addo situated at Effia-Nkwanta Roundabout, Sekondi-Takoradi, in the Western Region has been vandalized by some unknown individuals.

The statue of the former president has been destroyed completely. It reportedly occurred at about 1:30 am on January 13, 2025.

This is the second time the statue of the former president has been vandalized. A source close to the police revealed that they received information about the incident and promptly rushed to the scene. By the time we arrived, “the damage had already been done,” the source said.

This current situation is more severe in terms of the damages caused.

The statue which was unveiled on November 6, 2024, to honour the former president has been a matter of controversy since.

In December 2024, the statue received repairs to the leg after it suffered noticeable damage.
