NAPO Issues Sincere Apology Following Controversial Remarks About Kwame Nkrumah

Following a wave of public reactions, NAPO has issued a heartfelt apology concerning his recent remarks about Ghana’s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

The comments, made during an address on Tuesday, 9th July, in Kumasi, sparked a mix of opinions and concern among Ghanaians.

In his original statement, NAPO expressed his views on the performance of President Nana Akufo-Addo in comparison to past leaders of the nation.

These remarks, he clarified, were intended to reflect his personal opinion on the current President’s impact relative to his predecessors.

In an official letter released, NAPO emphasized that he never intended any disrespect towards Dr. Kwame Nkrumah or any former heads of state, including his own grand uncle and mentor, Mr. John Agyekum Kufuor.

“I note the concerns raised after my statement. I apologise sincerely and regret any discomfort caused,” NAPO stated, addressing the public’s reaction and acknowledging the sensitivity of his comments.
