Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the newly confirmed vice presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed deep honor and humility at his selection to run alongside Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the 2024 Presidential Election.
In a statement, Dr. Opoku Prempeh described his nomination as part of God’s plan and pledged to support Dr. Bawumia in winning the election and propelling Ghana to greater heights.
He thanked President Akufo-Addo and the party’s rank and file for their unwavering support, urging all members to work together for the success of the ticket.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh reiterated his commitment to supporting Dr. Bawumia in prosecuting a winning campaign, stating, “I understand the task ahead requires our collective effort, and I plead with every party member to come on board as we seek the mandate of our countrymen and women once again to serve them.”
With his confirmation by the NPP’s National Council, Dr. Opoku Prempeh is now duty-bound to support Dr. Bawumia in the 2024 Elections, aiming to transform Ghana into a prosperous nation.
