Nigerian Who Tested Positive For Coronavirus In Ghana Absconds From Isolation Center

OccupyGh.com has gathered that a Nigerian man who has tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the Upper West region of Ghana has run away from the isolation center.

Health authorities are seriously searching for Mr. Okafor Simon Chokuolu who, as per information gathered by nsemwoha.com, is the president of the Nigerians Association in Wa.

Mr. Bukari Ali, the regional Communications director for the NPP revealed the unfortunate incident in a Facebook post which read:

“OKAFOR SIMON CHUKUOLU, the president of the Nigerians association in Wa who tested positive for COVID 19 has absconded from the holding center he’s been kept for treatment. THE health authorities are seriously looking for him. Let’s help the authorities to arrest him.”

Mr. Chokuolu is one of the 7 confirmed cases in the Upper West region, with the nationwide confirmed cases standing at 641 at the last update by the Ghana Health Service Wednesday 15th April, 8 dead and 83 recoveries.

Members of the general public are entreated to help authorities with information that will lead to his arrest as he is a danger to everyone he will come into contact with.
