BREAK: NPP Finally Replies Alan Kyeremanten

The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has finally replied to Alan Kyeremanten, a party member and a financier of the party.

If you missed it, Alan has just announced his resignation from the party. He also announced that he will form the Movement For Change party to compete as President in the 2024 general election.

In reaction, Justin Kodua Frimpong of the NPP has released a statement:

“Mr. Kyerematen has been a valuable member of our Party, and his decision to leave is unfortunate. However, the New Patriotic Party remains focused on its objectives and is determined to continue to work hard to achieve its goals for the benefit of our great country…”

Kyerematen, who served as the Minister for Trade and Industry in the previous government, had been viewed as a potential frontrunner for the NPP presidential nomination for the 2024 elections.
