Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah Describes Ga Youth Who Stormed His Workplace As Spineless Cowards

Ghanaian broadcaster Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah has responded to the Ga Youth who stormed the premises of Angel FM/TV in Accra, demanding an apology from him.

The youth were upset over comments Afrifa-Mensah made about the Gborbu Wulumo of the Nungua Traditional Council several months ago.

Although Afrifa-Mensah had already apologized to the Traditional Council, the Ga Youth still sought him out at his workplace, claiming he had disrespected their tribe and culture.

However, when they arrived at the station, they were informed that Afrifa-Mensah was not present.

Afrifa-Mensah took to social media to express his disdain for the group, describing them as “spineless cowards.” He pointed out that he works from 6 am to 10 am, but the group arrived at the station at 1:30 pm, long after he had finished his shift.

“Mo y3 normal?” Afrifa-Mensah asked in a post, which translates to “Are they normal?” He accompanied the post with the hashtag “#zombies,” implying that the group’s actions were irrational and bizarre.

The incident has sparked a heated debate, with some defending Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah’s right to free speech and others condemning his comments as disrespectful. The Ga Youth’s actions have also been criticized, with many questioning their motives and tactics.
