A Ghanaian Uber driver has shared a chilling encounter with a supposed ghost on the popular show “Ride and Chat with Dr. Sam.”
The incident occurred during a late-night shift when he picked up a passenger from Bubuashe to Cantonment in Accra.
The driver recounted that he was working between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m. when he received a booking from Bubuashe. He confirmed the client’s identity before starting the trip to Cantonment. However, upon reaching the destination, he noticed something peculiar: the passenger was no longer in the car, but 23 cedis—the exact fare for the trip—was left on the seat.
“I was shocked because I did not see the person get out of the car,” the driver said. Despite the eerie nature of the experience, he felt somewhat reassured because the fare was left behind. “If I hadn’t seen the money, I would have been scared, but since it was there, I knew the person wouldn’t harm me.”
As a night driver, he admitted to having several unusual encounters, some of which have frightened him. He also recounted another incident near Mortuary Junction in Accra, where he declined a booking because he felt the client might be a spirit.
