Portable's Second Arrest Surfaces - From Debt to Assault

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, was arrested on Tuesday by the Lagos State Police Command for refusing to pay his debt on a G-Wagon he purchased from a car dealer in the state.

Portable bought the vehicle for N27 million but only paid N13 million, claiming the Mercedes Benz GLE was bad.

The car dealer reported the issue to the police, who arrested Portable and put him in custody.

Portable was released on bail on Wednesday. However, Portable has been re-arrested for the alleged assault of a police officer, shortly after being released from custody over an unpaid debt related to his Mercedes Benz GLE.

After his recent arrest, Portable released a song called “Spider-Man” which references the events leading up to his arrest.
