In his final State of the Nation address for his term, President Nana Akufo-Addo proudly announced that the 2023 batch of Free SHS students had achieved the best WASSCE results in over a decade.
According to the President, this accomplishment highlighted the success and impact of the Free SHS program initiated during his tenure.
“The 2023 batch of Free SHS students achieved the best WASSCE results in over a decade”, Nana Addo noted
Additionally, the President addressed the impending change in leadership within the Finance Ministry, emphasizing that it would not derail the government’s commitment to implementing agreements made with the IMF.
He noted while addressing the nation:
“Changing the leadership of the Finance Ministry will not affect the government’s commitment to implementing the terms agreed upon with the IMF”.
