Prophet Nigel Gaisie, the leader of Prophetic Hill Chapel, has long been a prominent figure in Ghana’s religious landscape, known for his bold and often dramatic prophecies.
Yet, his predictions have frequently missed the mark, leaving many to question his authenticity and whether his messages are truly divinely inspired.
One of his most notable failed predictions was that Kamala Harris would become the leader of the United States—a forecast proven incorrect when Donald Trump won the election instead. This was not an isolated incident; numerous predictions by Gaisie have not materialized, fueling doubts among followers and critics alike.

A recently resurfaced video has only heightened public skepticism. In the clip, Gaisie chastises those who pay pastors for prayers or purchase “anointed” items, calling both the givers and receivers “fake.”
However, the video later shows Gaisie promoting his own line of “special anointing oil” and wine, which he claims possess healing powers. This apparent contradiction has raised concerns, with some questioning whether Gaisie practices what he preaches.
As Prophet Gaisie continues to make headlines, his controversial prophecies and actions have become a focal point of debate, prompting reflection on the authenticity of modern-day prophecy in Ghana.
