A tragic event occurred at the Total 5 petrol station on the Akwadum road in Koforidua on the fateful evening of Monday, October 30, 2023
It happened across from All Nations University and resulted in the death of a private securit guard and the injuries of one other person.
Armed bandits stormed the Total 5 service station, carrying out a well
planned and brutal heist that left a path of destruction in their wake.
A private security guard, whose identity has not yet been made public, was the first casualty of this brutal heist.
During the commission of their crime, the armed robbers shot the security guard wit a gun, killing him.
The security guard was tragically killed at the scene by a gunshot wound that turned out to be so severe.
Another unfortunate person was dragged into the terror of the robbery in addition to the security guard.
The manager of the service station’s brother was revealed to be this person.
Throughout the terrifying experience, he was shot. The specific extent of his injuries has not been made public as of the most recent reports.
Thankfully, steps were taken right away away to the guarante he got to the medical center he needed.
He was taken to Central Hospital immediately for critical care.
