After facing widespread criticism on social media following his announcement of marriage, Akwaboah has revealed his plans to retaliate accordingly.
He stated that he is taking note of all the critics and intends to confront them at the appropriate time.
Since the release of his wedding photos, Akwaboah has been labeled as sick, unhealthy, and old-looking, among other derogatory names. Some fans even speculated whether he was suffering from sickle cell disease.
The couple had their traditional marriage on Friday, May 3, followed by the white wedding. Photos from the traditional ceremony, shared by the singer himself, showcased Mrs. Akwaboah adorned in a stunning corseted kente gown with a vibrant combination of red, blue, and yellow hand-beaded patterns. Pictures from their white wedding have also garnered attention.
The white wedding, held in Accra, was a heartwarming celebration of love. Videos shared online depicted Akwaboah and his bride exchanging vows with smiles and affection.
Akwaboah, looking sharp in his white tuxedo, sealed the moment with a tender kiss on his wife’s lips, eliciting cheers from the crowd. They danced joyfully as Akwaboah serenaded Theresa, accompanied by other artists including Cina Soul.
Despite the elegance of the occasion, some Ghanaians persist in criticizing his appearance.
