Social Media Users Criticise Bawumia’s New Trotro Plan to Utilise Electric Vehicles (Video)

Social media users criticised the government’s plans to employ electric vehicles for public transport when Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia revealed them.

Netizens contend that making such an announcement in a nation where power supply problems are a continual problem is simply ineffective.

In a recent interview, Dr. Bawumia disclosed that the government is developing a plan to deploy electric vehicles for public transportation.

The transition of public transport from using petroleum fuels to electric vehicles is being worked on by the government, according to Bawumia.

Social media users quickly disregarded his comment.

“Night bus, Takoradi to Kumasi… You learn that the bus’s battery is low three hours into the trip. SCENESSSSSS… hahaha,” one internet user wrote.

“I hope it won’t be with ECG,” said another. If a light goes out, you’re stuck,”

“Same person who chose Ghana card over 1000 interchanges wants us to believe this?” a third user commented. Oh, please, just give us a rating.

Look down for Bawumia’s post.
