Society Of The Physically Disabled Cautions Shatta Wale Over Recent Comments Against Stonebwoy

The Ghana Society of the Physically Disabled (GSPD) has condemned a viral video in which Shatta Wale mocked Stonebwoy, a fellow artiste with a disability, over his decision to boycott the Abeka Salahfest due to Shatta Wale’s inclusion.

In the video, Shatta Wale made derogatory comments, saying, “Stonebwoy, a disabled man, wants to fight me, a strong man.

I will kick you.” GSPD expressed disappointment and described Shatta Wale’s actions as irresponsible, calling on Ghanaians to condemn his behavior.

They demanded a retraction, apology, and removal of the offensive video from social media platforms.

GSPD reminded Shatta Wale that making derogatory remarks about a person’s disability is punishable under the Disability Act 715.

They emphasized the importance of embracing persons with disabilities and urged empathy, noting that disability can affect anyone at any time.
