Ebony lost her life on February 8, 2018, when she was involved in an accident on the Kumasi-Sunyani road.
Two others, Franky Kuri, her childhood friend and Francis Vondee, a military man, also lost their lives. Ebony was buried on Saturday, March 24, 2018.
After her demise was announced, there were prophecies which popped up which turned to have predicted her death before the sad day of February 2018.
Mysteries surrounded her death and up till now, her loss has really affected many and the Ghana music as a whole but of all the mysteries, her dad, Nana Opoku Kwarteng has revealed what has never been heard.
According to the father of the late dancehall diva, there was something unusual right after her birth and that predicted her greatness though they never anticipated she would die early.
In his narration on Afia Pokuaa’s Vim Talk Show, he revealed that when the time was up for them to put an earring on her ears, she always cried as long as the ring is not made of gold.
According to Nana Opoku, when they force her to wear a non-gold earring, her ear will start rotting till they remove and put on a gold earring. This he said made him have a second thought about her daughter even before she grew up.
He revealed that his affected his decision to allow Ebony ditch school to pursue her mus career.
