Stonebwoy Dominates 25th TGMAs: Check Out The Full Winners’ List

The annual TGMA Awards took place last night, showcasing the crème de la crème of Ghanaian and African music.

The event was marked by electrifying performances, heartfelt speeches, and a celebration of the vibrant music industry. Stonebwoy emerged as the night’s biggest winner, securing multiple accolades, including the coveted Artiste of the Year.

Gospel Song of the Year went to Nacee for his soul-stirring track “Aseda,” while Best Male Vocal Performance was awarded to Kofi Karikari, whose powerful voice has captivated many. Queendalyn Yurglee took home the award for Best Female Vocal Performance of the Year, cementing her place as a vocal powerhouse in the industry.

In the hiplife and hip-hop categories, King Paluta’s “Yahiti Remix,” featuring Kuami Eugene, won Best Hiplife Song of the Year, and Sarkodie’s “Otan” was honored as the Best Hiphop Song of the Year. Collaboration was a key theme, with Kidi and Stonebwoy’s “Likor” winning Collaboration of the Year and Stonebwoy and Angélique Kidjo’s “Manodzi” clinching both International Collaboration of the Year and Record of the Year.

King Promise’s “Terminator” dominated the Afropop scene, winning Best Afropop Song of the Year and the Telecel Most Popular Song of the Year. Olive Theboy’s “Good Sin” was named Best Afrobeat Song of the Year, showcasing the genre’s growing influence.

Kofi Kinaata’s “Effia Kuma Love” earned the Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year award, while Kuami Eugene’s visually captivating “Cryptocurrency” featuring Rotimi won Best Music Video of the Year. The Lifetime Achievement Award was deservedly bestowed upon the legendary Amakye Dede, honoring his immense contribution to Ghanaian music.

M.O.G Beatz was recognized as Producer of the Year for his outstanding work, while King Promise also took home the award for Best Afropop/Afrobeat Artiste of the Year. In the highlife category, Amerado’s “Kweku Ananse” was named Highlife Song of the Year, and Kuami Eugene was awarded Best Highlife Artiste of the Year.

The award for African Artiste of the Year went to Nigerian superstar Davido, highlighting his widespread appeal across the continent. Nacee, who also won Gospel Song of the Year, was honored as Gospel Artiste of the Year.

Strongman was recognized for Best Rap Performance with his hit “Dear God,” and Black Sherif took home the award for Best Hiplife/Hiphop Artiste of the Year. Stonebwoy’s “5th Dimension” was named Album/Ep of the Year, further solidifying his dominance at the awards. Mix Master Garzy received the Audio Engineer of the Year award for his exceptional technical skills.

King Paluta was celebrated as Best New Artiste of the Year, promising a bright future ahead. Eugene Zuta’s contributions to the industry were acknowledged with the Music For Good award.
