Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy is not having it with Mr Drew for implicating him over a stolen song saga that he has with Nigerian singer and, actor Rotimi.
Mr. Drew last week dropped a song entitle -Eat- which features Stonebwoy. Apparently, the song was a remake of Nigerian musician Rotimi’s ‘Love Riddim’.
According to Mr Drew, the Song was a cover of Rotimi’s Love Riddim and he had no intention of taking ownership of the song.
But Unfortunately, the Song was flagged with a copyright tag on YouTube and this has brought so many thoughts into the minds of Music Lovers as to whether Stonebwoy knew the Song was just a cover of Rotimi’s” Love Riddim”.
Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreakhitz on Hitzfm, Stonebwoy revealed that he only offered to help Mr Drew when he first sighted the song on Instagram.
According to details privy to OccupyGh.com, Stonebwoy revealed that he never knew the song was a cover until his younger brother told him it was a cover of Rotimi’s” Love Riddim”.
He added that He only got to know it was a cover after he had sent his verse of the song to Stonebwoy.
The Award-winning artiste revealed that he is pleading with Mr. Drew and his boss, Kaywa to kindly leave his name out the brouhaha and find a solution to the pending problem.
Stonebwoy made all these revelations to counter Mr. Drew’s allegations that, He(Stonebwoy) knew the song was a cover before he (Stonebwoy) offered to join.
