DAMN! Stonebwoy’s Bhim Concert In Ghana To Feature Busy Signal

Ahead of Bhim Concert 2022, Busy Signal has been announced as the headlining act.

On Friday, December 23, the yearly festival, now in its sixth year, will be held at the Grand Arena (Accra International Conference Centre, AICC), for an immersive experience that aims to bring together locals and visitors with African and Caribbean roots through specially curated music, arts, and culture.

The dancehall and reggae star, who was born in Jamaica, brings a successful career spanning two decades to Ghana’s biggest artiste-led musical spectacle this year.

SIGNAL has proven his flexibility by blending traditional Caribbean music with afro-beats, soca, edm, and hiphop. This has allowed him to draw collaborators such renowned EDM duo Major Lazer for the singles “Watch Out For This (Bumaye)” and, more recently, “Jump.”

While hits like “Come Over,” “Bedroom Bully,” “One More Night,” and others have remained favorites among his core Caribbean fanbase, other collaborations with No Doubt, Damian and Stephen Marley, and others have increased his international appeal.

Building on the success of earlier iterations, Stonebwoy, a well-known Ghanaian-international singer, founded Bhim Concert, which has become Ghana’s biggest and best-attended artist-led music festival.

The festival has included a sizable lineup of well-known musical performers from Africa and the Caribbean ever since it began.
