Fuse ODG, a Ghanaian musician, has responded to comments made by Michael Blackson during a recent interview on the Drink Champs podcast.
Blackson, a Ghanaian-American comedian, made some remarks that were perceived as negative by Fuse ODG toward the Ghanaian culture.
Blackson who jokingly mentioned that Ghana has only 4 artists might have triggered the reaction from Fuse.
Fuse ODG took to social media to express his disappointment and asked Blackson to stop embarrassing Ghanaians.
The musician urged Blackson to use his platform to promote the positive aspects of Ghanaian culture and not to perpetuate negative stereotypes.
He tweeted:
“Mike…I don’t know how you go on
@Drinkchamps
and say there are only 4 artists in Ghana. Not cool bro. I’ve personally introduced u to a lot of GH artists in GH! smh. Stop embarrassing us on these platforms…you’re supposed to educate them.”
