Suspected Coronavirus Patient Dies In Kumasi - Dr Badu Sarkodie Reveals

Dr Badu Sarkodie, Director of Public Health at the Ghana Health Service (GHS) has revealed that one person suspected of having Coronavirus has died in Kumasi.

According to Dr. Badu Sarkodie, although the patient tested negative to Coronavirus, he showed symptoms of the deadly virus.

The suspect reportedly arrived in Ghana from Germany with the symptoms of Covid-19.

An emergency test conducted on him proved that he was free of the virus. He, however, died later at the hospital.

The revelation is curious because, at least 129 people have tested positive for Coronavirus in Germany, with the number of cases doubling yesterday.

The real cause of the man’s death has not been revealed as Dr Badu Sarkodie says the case is still under investigation.
