A heart-wrenching video has surfaced online, showing a 30-year-old Ghanaian woman, Afia, tearfully recounting her painful experience with her landlord.
The lady alleged that her landlord, whose identity remains undisclosed, made false promises to her, including a rent-free extension and exemption from utility bills, in exchange for a romantic relationship.
Afia claimed that the landlord deceived her by claiming to be a divorcee, but his wife unexpectedly returned to their shared residence, revealing the truth.
Feeling betrayed, Afia ended the relationship and demanded a refund of two years’ worth of rent.
In the video, Afia expressed deep sorrow and shock over the ordeal, accusing the landlord of exploiting her trust. The incident highlights the need for caution and awareness in rental agreements and personal relationships.
