The Platform Could not Offer What I Desired Anymore — Berla Mundi Reveals Why She Left GHOne TV At Last

In a rare revelation, acclaimed journalist Berla Mundi has delved into the circumstances that led to her departure from GHOne TV to TV3.

On August 15, 2019, the esteemed media personality announced her transition from EIB Network to Media General, igniting speculation among Ghanaians about the reasons behind her move from the media house that had been instrumental in her career growth.

Years later, in a widely circulated video, Berla shared insights into her decision, acknowledging the difficulty of leaving GHOne but expressing her need for a larger platform.

She candidly admitted to grappling with the decision to part ways with GHOne, given the deep connection she had with the organization.

Berla Mundi revealed that despite facing challenges meeting her needs at GHOne, she hesitated to move on due to a sense of loyalty and indebtedness to the company, which had played a pivotal role in her broadcasting journey.

However, as her tenure at GHOne progressed, Berla encountered increasing difficulties and felt unfulfilled in her role. She recounted feeling overlooked and undervalued, which prompted her to contemplate a change.

Eventually, the opportunity arose at TV3, and although Berla initially accepted an offer from the network, she ultimately declined it. It was only after realizing that her position at TV3 remained available that she made the definitive decision to leave GHOne.

Reflecting on her departure, Berla Mundi emphasized the importance of maintaining one’s sense of self and recognizing when it’s time to move on. Despite the challenges she faced, she expressed gratitude for her time at GHOne and embraced the new opportunities that awaited her at TV3.
