In surprising events, thieves who looted Muindi Mweusi Supermarket, a popular market in Nairobi Kenya were reportedly seen in viral video returning the stolen goods on their own.

According to eyewitnesses, the group of robbers was spotted unloading part of the stolen items on the morning of Tuesday, Marr 21.

The supermarket was looted on Monday, March 20, during the anti-state protests.

We lost goods and property estimated at KSh 15 million. These include assorted goods, TV sets, gas cylinders, and mattresses. They gained access after breaking the main entrance. We had more than six people arrested yesterday,” said the retail manager Maguli.

It is unclear what prompted the thieves to return the goods, but speculations suggest that they may have had a change of heart or felt guilty for their actions.

The incident has sparked a lot of debate and discussions among locals, with some praising the thieves for doing the right thing, while others remain skeptical about their intentions.
