Information reaching us indicates that the three kidnapped Takoradi girls have been rescued.

According to reports, the three girls are currently undergoing a medical examination at a private facility in Accra.

The three girls identified as Priscilla Blessing Bentum, Ruth Love Quayson and Priscilla Koranchie were kidnapped in three different incidences between August 2018 and January 2019.

The parents of the kidnapped girls over the weekend held a demonstration to mount pressure on the authorities to find their children.

Currently, the prime suspect in the kidnapping, Sam Udoetuk Wills has been arraigned before the Takoradi Magistrate Court.

Sam was able to escape from jail with the help of a police officer after he was arrested in December 2018 but he was re-arrested.
