Three Police Officers Interdicted for Neglecting Duties During Voter Registration Exercise

The Ghana Police Service has taken swift action against three police personnel for failing to perform their duties professionally during the ongoing Limited Voter Registration Exercise.

Inspector Michael Addo, General Constable Eric Boakye, and General Constable Michael Gyan were interdicted on May 11, 2024, following allegations of mishandling security duties at the Electoral Commission Office in Adugyama, Ashanti Region.

The affected officers are facing disciplinary action for their unprofessional conduct, which compromised the security of the electoral process.

The Ghana Police Service has reiterated its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and accountability among its personnel.
