A transformer thief has been electrocuted in his effort to steal components of the machine.
The accused man reportedly escaped death after he was electrocuted from the transformer pole while trying to steal oil from the transformer.
A netizen on Twitter noted:
“According to news reaching me, this man was trying to steal oil from the transformer yesterday morning and got burnt in the process while using his phone as touch light.“
