
<p class="has-drop-cap">Information reaching us at <a href="https://occupygh.com/">OccupyGh.com</a> indicates that the University of Ghana has suspended all lectures effectively immediately in the wake of <a href="https://occupygh.com/category/coronavirus">Coronavirus</a> (COVID-19) case <a href="https://occupygh.com/university-of-ghana-student-test-positive-for-coronavirus-covid-19">recorded in the school</a>.</p>



<p>This announcement was made by the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Ebenezer Oduro Owusu after it was announced that Ghana has recorded four additional cases of COVID-19.</p>



<p class="has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color">Prof Owusu asked residential students to stay on campus while non-residential students were asked to stay at home<a href="https://occupygh.com/university-of-ghana-student-test-positive-for-coronavirus-covid-19">.</a></p>



<p>Meanwhile, students of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology are still begging the university’s authorities to suspend their upcoming mid-semester exams.</p>



<p>They have launched a petition which has gathered thousands of signatories.</p>
