
<p class="has-drop-cap">Funerals in the US to be live streaming according to a new recommendation amidst <a href="https://occupygh.com/category/coronavirus">Coronavirus</a> (COVID-19) outbreak.</p>



<p>The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended live-streaming of funeral services on various social media platforms.</p>



<p>IT would help limit physical attendance.</p>



<p>IN A WEBINAR WITH THE NATIONAL FUNERAL DIRECTORS ASSOCIATION AND FUNERAL HOMES ACROSS THE US, THE CENTERS FOR DISEASE CONTROL AND PREVENTION (CDC) SAID FUNERALS SHOULD BE LIMITED TO A SMALL NUMBER OF MOURNERS PHYSICALLY PRESENT, AND STREAMED ONLINE FOR EVERYONE ELSE.</p>



<p class="has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color">This comes after the government ordered 10 people to be the maximum for public gatherings for the next 15 days<a href="https://occupygh.com/british-actor-idris-elba-describes-life-after-testing-positive-for-coronavirus">.</a></p>



<p>They also asked that people should be at least 6 feet away from an infected person.</p>



<p>“THERE MAY BE LESS OF A CHANCE OF THE VIRUS SPREADING FROM CERTAIN TYPES OF TOUCHING, SUCH AS HOLDING THE HAND OR HUGGING AFTER THE BODY HAS BEEN PREPARED FOR VIEWING,” THE CDC WROTE.</p>



<p>“AS YOU THINK ABOUT PLANNING FOR THE EVENT, LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IF POSSIBLE, USE LIVE-STREAMING OPTIONS AND PERHAPS HAVE ONLY IMMEDIATELY FAMILY ON HAND.”</p>
