Former General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie aka Sir John died on Wednesday 1st July 2020.
However, there were several reports that Sir John had died from the deadly novel COVID-19.
Reports indicated that Sir John died after battling it out with the novel COVID-19.
Well, it was not just reports or rumors that Sir John died from the deadly virus as it has been confirmed that the popular NPP politician died from coronavirus.
Sir John was receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital until he met his demise.
