Ghanaian featherweight boxer Samuel Takyi did Ghana proud by securing a bronze medal for the nation at the Tokyo 2020 after 29 years of medal drought at the Olympics.

Beating his South American opponent, C. Avila, to secure the bronze and unfortunately losing to the American boxer D. Ragan at the semi-finals.

Finally, Sammie Takyi has reacted by sharing a tweet on Twitter, giving thanks and appreciation for the love shown him by all.

He however left a deep message with his tweet.
