President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Dr. Dominic Akuritinga Ayine as the Attorney-General and Minister for Justice designate.

Dr. Ayine, a seasoned legal expert with over three decades of experience, is well-known for his previous role as Deputy Attorney General and his position as the founding partner of Ayine & Partners Law Offices.

Who Is Dr. Dominic Akuritinga Ayine

His academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Law from Stanford University, an LLM from the University of Michigan Law School, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Ghana.

Beyond his legal practice, Dr. Ayine has contributed to academia as a lecturer at the University of Ghana Law School, shaping the next generation of legal professionals.

His extensive knowledge and experience are expected to bring integrity and strategic oversight to the Ministry of Justice.

This appointment signifies a renewed focus on legal reforms and strengthening Ghana’s justice system under President Mahama’s administration.
