Xenophobia: South Africa PEP Store Looted In Retaliation Attack In Lagos

A South African clothing store in Lagos, PEP, has been looted in a retaliation attack by some Nigerians in Lagos.

This follows an ongoing outrage against Nigerians and foreigners in South Africa that has so far seen as many as five dead from the attack.

In 2015, similar riots in South Africa galvanized resentment toward foreigners in the country. The southern African country today sees a new wave of a similar attacks.

In a new development, a retaliation attack has besieged Lagos. OccupyGh.com has been informed of the case of a PEP clothing and accessory dealer store in Surulere, Lagos that was looted on Tuesday evening.

Videos and photos sighted by us show police storming the PEP store to control and salvage the situation.

This is among the many of reports the police have had over these few days just hours to the Xenophobia attacks on foreigners in South Africa.
