BREAKING: 6-year-Old Girl Kidnapped In Kintampo (Ghana)

6-year-Old Girl Kidnapped Kintampo

A six-year-old girl has allegedly been kidnapped at Kintampo in the Brong Ahafo region.

According to reports, Jackline Ntiriwaa, also known as Maame Yaa, was last seen on April 7, 2019.

Distraught mother, Mavis Gyasi in an interview with Adom News Wednesday said, her daughter was lured with toffee by a middle-aged woman.

She revealed that, the kidnappers called to demand ransom and they offered to pay if only they allow her speak to her daughter.

“The kidnappers always call me with different numbers demanding money but when I ask them to allow me speak to my daughter, they bang the phone,” she narrated in Twi.

Madam Gyasi said they have reported the case to the Kintampo Police but no significant results have been achieved a month since her daughter went missing.

She added that the kidnappers have warned the family not to report the case to the police.

This is happening at a time when the police are struggling to locate the whereabouts of three girls kidnapped in Takoradi in the Western region.

The Takoradi kidnapping incident, for instance, has generated a social media campaign with the hashtag #BringBackOurTaadiGirls.

Meanwhile, the suspect, Samuel Utodoek-Wills is still in custody but has failed to disclose the location of the girls.
