Travel Outside Else You’ll di£ Broke: Obofour Cautions GH youth

In a surprising statement made on Kumasi-based Angel FM, the CEO of Last Chance Travel and Tour, Obofour, has advised the youth of Ghana to travel outside the country or risk being broke and unable to build a house in their homeland.

Obofour believes that those who desire a better life for themselves should not waste any time in making their way outside of Ghana.

He stated that financial stability is impossible to achieve in Ghana for those who do not take advantage of opportunities to travel and work abroad.

This advice comes amidst a growing trend of young Ghanaians considering emigration as a means of escaping economic hardship and pursuing better education opportunities.

According to a recent BBC survey, over 50% of young Africans aged 18-24 are likely to consider emigrating in the next few years.

Obofour’s comments have sparked mixed reactions from Ghanaians. Some agree with him, citing the numerous opportunities for financial growth and professional development that are available outside of Ghana.

Others have criticized his remarks, arguing that the country needs to focus on creating more opportunities for its citizens rather than encouraging them to leave.

Regardless of the debate, it is clear that emigration is a significant issue for the youth of Ghana.

While some may view leaving the country as a means of escaping financial hardship, others may feel compelled to stay and work towards improving their homeland.

Ultimately, the decision to travel abroad or remain in Ghana is a personal one that requires careful consideration of one’s goals and values.
