The president of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has revealed that measures have been put in place to repatriate Ghanaian citizens like Sarkodie who are stuck abroad due to the pandemic back home.

Nana Addo speaking in his 10th address to the nation on the measures taken so far to curb the pandemic, said the strick measures put in place will be gradually eased, paving way for religious, education and other activities to resume in a controlled manner.

Although the country’s borders remain closed, the president announced special measures taken to bring home some Ghanaian citizens stuck abroad due to the issue at hand.

Ghanaian musician Sarkodie and his family are among such citizens. He has been agitating for the government to repatriate him and his family back to Ghana, with the latest rant coming from his wife, Tracy on Twitter.

The Sark family is expected to be among those who will be returning through the government’s special arrangement.
