Heartbroken Husband Stabs Wife To Death After Catching Her In Bed With Another Man

In a tragic incident, a Nigerian man named Onipede Dare fatally stabbed his wife, Kumapayi Arinola, after discovering her in bed with another man.

The incident took place at Christ Avenue in the Adebayo area of Ado-Ekiti on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

Sunday Abutu, a spokesperson for the state police, confirmed the incident on Sunday, stating that the investigation is underway.

“We received information from the children. The incident happened on Saturday, 27/4/24. Father’s name: Onipede Dare, Mother’s name: Kumapayi Arinola. Police are investigating the matter,” Abutu said.

According to a source, the couple sent their older child on an errand before engaging in a violent altercation, resulting in both parties stabbing each other with sharp objects.

Tragically, Arinola succumbed to her injuries and passed away at the scene.

Neighbors attempted to intervene but found the couple’s apartment locked. Upon gaining entry by removing parts of the building ceiling, they discovered the couple with severe injuries.

Arinola was rushed to the hospital but tragically passed away before reaching medical attention.
