A Former Secretary Of GFA Wrote A Letter To The German Embassy To Deny Me Visa And They Never Paid Me For The Songs I Wrote For Black Stars – Grace Ashley

Renowned Ghanaian musician, Grace Ashley, has made a shocking revelation in a recent interview, disclosing that she never received a penny from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for composing a song for the Ghana Black Stars.

The song, which became a viral sensation in 2014, was intended to boost the confidence of the team.

According to Grace Ashley, her love and passion for the team compelled her to write the song. She presented the song to the former GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi, who assured her that they would get back to her and commended her for the song.

Despite the song’s massive success and the fame it brought her, Grace Ashley revealed that she faced challenges, including an attempt to ban her from traveling to Germany to support the team.

She alleged that a former secretary of the GFA wrote a letter to the German Embassy, requesting that they refuse her a visa. However, she managed to overcome this hurdle and traveled to Germany as planned.

Grace Ashley made these revelations during an interview with Nana Ama Mcbrown on the Onua Showtime Show.
