A Ghanaian woman has gone public on Pizzaman Chickenman, claiming that the well-known restaurant has conned her and that she lost GHC 9,500 as a result of scammers using the business’ website.
She also revealed in her video that she placed an order and was instructed to pay with Momo, which she was happy to do because she didn’t have any cash on her.
She claims that the con artists were able to enter her account and take GHC 9,500 during the payment process.
The woman said that since she followed all ethical guidelines, including using the Pizzaman website, they should take responsibility if she fell victim to fraud.

“It’s sad all the lame comments I am seeing here,” another person commented. As a software developer, you should be aware that although the price payment gateway may show a lower price, the actual price is GHS9500.
Now that you’ve seen the amount shown, you probably don’t remember to check the momo prompt because you previously saw it from the gateway (of which the majority of you may be victims). The most favourable aspect is that they locate and remove the fraudulent website 🙌.
