A mother had cried out for help after her 19-year-old son, Nana Obeng Owusu Junior tragically passed away following an injection at the Ewin Polyclinic in Cape Coast.
She said that her son, a second-year law student at the University of Ghana, had an asthma attack, so they took him to the hospital, intending to kill him there.
She described what happened, saying that her son had an attack and needed oxygen, so they took him to the polyclinic.
When she arrived at the clinic, they requested she purchase some medication for her son before administering an unknown injection to him. She claims that following the injection, he became upset and died despite the nurses’ best efforts to bring him back to life. The saddest part is that they rushed him to the mortuary and won’t reveal how he passed away.
The distraught mother is pleading for assistance in an effort to make the hospital answerable for what happened to her baby.
