Businessman Emmanuel Aboagye Donates GH₵500,000 to Support Kumasi Market Fire Victims

Emmanuel Aboagye, a renowned businessman and philanthropist, has donated GH₵500,000 to assist traders affected by the recent fire at Kumasi’s Central Business District.

The devastating blaze on March 21 destroyed numerous shops and goods, leaving many traders in distress.

Aboagye presented the donation to Ashanti Regional Minister Dr. Frank Amoakohene, emphasizing his commitment to supporting the less privileged through his charity foundation.

He urged the business community to offer both financial and psychological assistance to help the victims rebuild their livelihoods.

Dr. Amoakohene expressed gratitude for the timely support and assured that the government would take necessary steps to aid in the reconstruction of the market.

The minister also mentioned plans to negotiate with banks for flexible loan repayment terms for the affected traders.
