Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus, the Member of Parliament-elect for Gomoa Central Constituency, has made a bold claim regarding the recent attack on the residence and office of Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the outgoing Minister of Communication and Digitalisation.
A Plus expressed skepticism about the alleged attacks, suggesting that the minister herself “could very well be behind the alleged attacks” as part of a ploy to tarnish the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and garner public sympathy.
A Plus took to his Facebook page to air his views, also expressing shock at the revelation that there were no CCTV cameras installed at the minister’s residence.
He criticized her tenure, stating that the lack of CCTV cameras at her office and residence “speaks volumes about the kind of associates Akufo-Addo worked with”. A Plus implied that such lapses reflect a focus on theatrics rather than effective governance.
This development comes after Ursula Owusu-Ekuful lost her reelection bid for the Ablekuma West Constituency to the NDC’s Rev. Kweku Addo.
A Plus’s claims have sparked a heated debate, with some calling for an investigation into the alleged attacks.
