Ablekuma North: Fire Guts School Buildings Where Disputed Ballot Papers Were Kept, EC Loses Everything

A fire outbreak occurred at the Kwashieman Cluster of Schools in the early hours of the morning, causing damage to the premises and destroying some of the disputed ballot papers from the Ablekuma North constituency.

According to eyewitnesses, the fire started in the storage room where the ballot papers were kept. The Ghana National Fire Service was quickly alerted and responded promptly to extinguish the fire.

Although the fire has been brought under control, some damage has already been done. The extent of the damage is still being assessed, but it is clear that some of the ballot papers have been destroyed.

The incident has raised concerns about the integrity of the electoral process and the safety of sensitive electoral materials.

The Ablekuma North constituency has been at the center of controversy in recent days, with disputes over the legitimacy of the election results.

The destruction of the ballot papers has only added to the tension and uncertainty in the constituency.
