Ghanaian actor Kalybos recently opened up about his decision to marry his current wife, despite facing public criticism.
Speaking as a guest on the Girls Aloud podcast, Kalybos shared insights into his personal choices and explained why he chose to lead his wife to the altar.
Kalybos stated that he felt confident in his decision because he was financially stable and settled abroad at the time, which contributed to his choice.
He emphasized that he didn’t feel pressured to marry someone simply because of a long-term relationship.
Reflecting on his past, Kalybos also mentioned a former girlfriend, Frimpomaa, with whom he had a long relationship but ultimately did not marry.
He explained that despite the length and seriousness of that relationship, he realized Frimpomaa wasn’t the right match for him in marriage.
“Being in a relationship for a long time doesn’t mean you’re obligated to settle down with that person,” he said, stressing that each person should consider compatibility over duration when it comes to marriage. His comments have sparked conversation about relationship expectations and personal choice in marriage.
