If you missed the AFCON 2023 Opening Ceremony just as a few of our guys in the newsroom did, then no problem, we got you covered. The AFCON 2023 starts in Côte d’Ivoire on Saturday (13 January, 2024).
The tournament which was initially scheduled in July 2023 is taking place this year 2024.
Côte d’Ivoire is hosting the event for the second time in its history.
According to reports, 1.5 million people are expected to attend the event in Ivory Coast
Moreover, the country has reportedly invested over $1.6 million in making the tournament possible.
