Controversial Ghanaian media personality, Afia Schwarzenegger, has once again sparked a storm in the political and social spheres.
In a viral TikTok live session, she made a series of damning allegations against former president and current flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama.
Afia alleged that the former president had financed individuals to malign ex-president John Agyekum Kufuor and other notable figures associated with the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to her, Mahama’s actions are part of a broader strategy by the NDC to discredit its political opponents.
During the live session, Afia expressed disappointment in Mahama, accusing him of standing idly by as his supporters tarnished the legacy of Kufuor.
When a viewer reminded her of the financial assistance she had purportedly received from Mahama in the past, Afia dismissed the claim, insisting that her actions in support of the NDC had always been driven by a desire to see Ghanaians live better lives—not financial gain.

“Everything I did was for the benefit of the people,” she stated. “I didn’t do it for money.” She further alleged that the former president had used his position to engage in relationships with several of her female friends, showering them with gifts and favors.
Contrary to rumors of a romantic link between herself and the ex-president, Afia clarified that there was no such relationship. “It was never me,” she asserted. “He was busy with my friends, not me.”
