A large number of socialites attended United Television’s (UTV) annual holiday gathering, “UTV Day With The Stars,” which was held on New Year’s Day.
The Despite Media Group, proprietors of the free-to-air TV channel, opted to include some prominent TikTok producers on their roster of guests for this year’s edition, which was held on January 1.
According to reports, roughly 21 TikTokers accepted the invitation to attend the event and use their fame and influence to increase awareness of it.
However, it’s been heard that the station’s administration gave each invited TikToker a split of GH$3,000. This implies that each recipient will only get a meager 142 Ghana cedis.
According to what we gathered, they flatly rejected the offer since they thought it was disrespectful and disappointing.
