In a surprising revelation, Bishop Kwabena Asiamah, popularly known as Ajagurajah, has disclosed that neither he nor his followers in the Ajagurajah Movement participate in voting during elections.
This decision, he explained, is rooted in their belief that God is the ultimate chooser of leaders.
In an interview with Smart Ghana on December 5, 2024, Ajagurajah shared his personal stance on voting, stating, “My church members and I don’t vote. I’ve never voted in my life.”
He further revealed that he would be leaving Ghana before the December 7 elections and returning only after the results are announced.
Ajagurajah emphasized that his group’s trust in God’s plan supersedes any human intervention in the electoral process. “We believe God is in control of who becomes a leader, so we trust in His plan, no matter the outcome of the elections,” he explained.
The renowned bishop also commented on the numerous prophecies surrounding the elections, saying, “Everyone is sharing their opinions.
I’ve told my children that I know who is right in all the controversies, and I know who will cry someday.” His cryptic remark has left many wondering about the outcome of the elections.
Ajagurajah’s decision not to vote has sparked intense debate, with some praising his commitment to his faith and others questioning the implications of such a stance.
As Ghana prepares for its presidential elections, Ajagurajah’s revelation serves as a reminder of the diverse perspectives and beliefs that shape the country’s electoral landscape.
