The leader of the Ebenezer Worship Center, Prophet Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, popularly known as Opambour, has made bold claims surrounding the recent death of Ghana Freedom Party leader, Akua Donkor.
Speaking on his televised church program, Opambour suggested that her passing was not a mere coincidence but a deliberate act tied to power struggles within the political landscape.
During a discussion with his junior pastors, the outspoken prophet disclosed that Donkor, known for her outspoken nature and tenacity, was not meant to pass away at this time.
According to Opambour, her untimely death was a consequence of the fierce desire for power and wealth among some of her colleagues in politics, whom he accused of sacrificing her for their own gains.

Opambour expressed deep sorrow over Donkor’s death, cautioning Ghanaians against the dangerous obsession with wealth and influence. “Our society is plagued by a sudden, overpowering desire for money that blinds us to human decency and loyalty,” he said.
The sudden death of Akua Donkor has left many Ghanaians in shock, as she remained a prominent and spirited figure in Ghanaian politics. The circumstances surrounding her passing have raised concerns and, with Opambour’s assertions, may prompt further speculation.
As the nation mourns her loss, questions linger about the dynamics within the political sphere, where power struggles may overshadow respect for life.
