Akwasi Baffour, the first child of the late Ghana Freedom Party leader, Madam Akua Donkor, has spoken out for the first time since his mother’s demise.
In an interview, Akwasi Baffour disputed claims that his mother passed away due to a short illness, revealing that she had visited him just three weeks prior when he was sick in Ejura-Tia.
Akwasi Baffour fondly remembered his mother’s kindness and empathy, qualities that will stay with him forever. Madam Akua Donkor left behind four children, having lost three of her seven children.
The late politician was a prominent figure in Ghanaian politics, known for her determination to become Ghana’s first female president.
