Reliable information reaching OccupyGh.com’s news desk indicates that Rosemond Brown aka Akuapem Poloo has finally been released from Nsawam Prisons.
According to the Ghana Prison Service, Akuapem Poloo was handed over to them yesterday April 22.
Akuapem Poloo was sentenced to 90 days in Prison by the Accra Circuit Court after the actress shared a nude photo of herself with her 7-year-old son on her Instagram account June 2020.
She was on Wednesday 21st April 2021 granted bail in the sun of GHs 80,000.00 with sureties, pending an appeal by her lawyer Andy Vortia but she was not able to meet the bail conditions.
Deputy Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Prisons Service ASP Samuel Kofi Opoku confirmed that Akuapem Poloo was currently in their custody.
This was revealed in an interview with Christian Agyei Frimpong, host of Onua FM’s entertainment talk show Anigye Mmre.
